MiAsia Symone
MiAsia Symone (Atlanta, Georgia), is a bonafide multi-media personality and event host with experience in the radio, television, sports and music industries. She got her start back in June 2014 as a hip-hip blogger for multiple platforms after deciding to give up her basketball dreams while in college. MiAsia has worked her way up to becoming an influencer in Atlanta for aspiring journalists and others aspiring careers in the media world. In the past, she has worked as a production assistant for The Spice Group, interned at Streetz 94.5 in Atlanta, and covered her first few red carpets and high profile events with Sweet Candor TV. Graduating from Georgia State University with a Bachelor’s in Journalism, MiAsia started her own media platform MSL Media. This a positive media outlet that focuses on the engagement with millennials by covering red carpets, movie premieres, award shows, brand launches and other events relative to entertainment and sports today. She recently received a co-sign from hip-hop mogul P. Diddy at the 2019 Revolt Summit in Atlanta after promoting her brand consistently and getting the attention of other attendees. Impressing him with her self-promotion and quick-witted question after a panel discussion, he hired her on the spot and flew her to Los Angeles to give her a shot with Revolt TV in covering the summit out there. In May 2018, MiAsia Symone joined Entercom Communications and is currently working in promotions for 92.9 The Game, V-103, Star 94.1 and WAOK. She is also a co-host on a weekly radio show focusing on sports and entertainment news which airs on Southside Dash Radio. In addition, MiAsia is a member of the NABJ (National Association of Black Journalists). Her ball is rolling pretty fast as she works her way up to becoming one of the world’s greatest media moguls. MiAsia Symone has also tapped into her humanitarian side starting an annual event called Passion and Pocketbooks. It focuses on caring for homeless women in her community. Managing her own platform, radio life, and obstacles constantly being thrown her way, we can expect to see MiAsia Symone do world-shocking things very soon!
